How to use
Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix eliminates messy, time-consuming composting and mixing.
- Add Organic Choice Potting Mix to the bottom of a pot with drainage holes. If re-potting, use a container that is one size larger than the old one.
- Insert the plant stem or root ball into the pot and fill with more Potting Mix, pressing soil down lightly.
- Water thoroughly and allow to drain. Do not let pot sit in drainage water.
For best results, re-pot at least once a year in early spring or fall. You can also re-pot if the plant is root-bound (roots wind around inside of pot), if roots grow out of the drainage holes, if the plant's bottom leaves turn yellow or drop off, or if the soil becomes faded or crusty.

Where not to use
Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix is formulated especially for potted and container plants. For in-ground plants, vegetables and flowers, use Miracle-Gro® Organic Choice® Garden Soil instead.
